Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a verified report documenting the environmental impact of a product over the course of its life cycle. EPDs are based on data from a holistic life cycle assessment (LCA), which measures greenhouse gas and other emissions, resource use, waste generation, and other impacts. Atkore EPDs report the production-weighted average environmental impact of various trade sizes within a specific product group.

EPDs offer multiple benefits to customers. They are a fundamental tool for understanding and reducing the environmental impact of construction projects. Additionally, EPDs count for points toward green building performance certifications.
